Global Defense SA-9 Overview

• Origin: Manufactured in Turkey, based on a military and law enforcement product.
• Construction:
  • Receivers: Upper and lower machined from 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, hard anodized.
  • Barrel: 6.5” long, made of 4140 steel, chrome-lined bore, QPQ finish.
  • Muzzle: Threaded 1/2×28 TPI, with a three-lug mounting system for flash hiders or suppressors, shipped with an A2-style flash hider.
• Mechanism:
  • Operation: Blowback-operated.
  • Internal Components: Hammer, trigger, and disconnector are AR-15-compatible.
  • Controls: AR-15-style, with ambidextrous thumb safety lever and left-side bolt hold-open. Ambidextrous paddle magazine release and rear charging handle are AR-compatible.
