Spartan™ Omega™ AR500 Body Armor
Product Overview: The Spartan™ Omega™ AR500 Body Armor single plate is crafted from ¼” thick lab-certified AR500 Omega™ Armor ballistic-grade steel. Available in three sizes (8”x10”, 10”x12”, and 11”x14”), it provides Level III protection according to NIJ0101.06 standards. Independently tested and verified by an NIJ credentialed laboratory.
True High-Quality Ballistic Threat Protection:
- Utilizes only ballistic LAB CERTIFIED AR500 steel for top-quality armor.
- Current lab certificates available upon request for peace of mind.
- Serialized plates allow easy tracking back to the original steel source for verification.
Laser Cut to Protect Ballistic Integrity:
- Utilizes laser cutting to maintain ballistic integrity throughout each steel core body armor plate.
- Avoids excessive heat exposure compared to plasma torch cutting used by other manufacturers.
- Ensures high production integrity and quality standards.
Additional Protection Options:
- Offers full coat or base coat options.
- Full coat option includes Encapsaloc™, capturing spalling from ballistic impacts.
- Base coat option provides corrosion protection but limited fragmentation/spall mitigation.
- Spall Containment Sleeve available for base coat plates.

- Offers single curve or Advanced Triple Curve™ (ATC) formation for ergonomic fit.
- ATC design provides snug, comfortable fit, and increased operational maneuverability.
